If you are an active member of the GPM, you are eligible to vote.  Below you will find some useful information about the election.

How do I vote in the GPM elections?

Voting in our election will take place online from November 12th – 26th. If you are registered to vote, will have received an email from SimplyVoting ( when voting opened, which includes your login and password as well as instructions on how to vote. Who/what am I voting for?

There are several different questions on the ballot this year, which fall into three categories: Leadership Contest, Elected Officers, and Motions.

Leadership Contest:

The first question on the ballot is the Leadership Contest. There are three options for this question: James Beddome, Andrea Shalay, and None of the Above. To vote, you will rank all three options from 1-3 in order of your preference. To read about each candidate and their vision, visit

We recently also held a question-and-answer forum with the leadership contestants. If you missed the forum or would like to watch it again, you can do so at

Elected Officers:

Next, you will vote for the 10 Elected Officer positions. This year, there is only one person seeking each position. Your options will be Yes or No to either approve or disapprove of each nominee. You can read the bios of each nominee at

There are also several motions up for approval on this year’s ballot. These motions are amendments to either the Constitution or By-Laws of the GPM. You can read each of the proposed motions at
