“To create sustainable, healthy communities, Greens believe we must learn to live in harmony with the environment,” Therrien Vrignon said. “This need for harmony and cooperation also applies to the way we practise politics and it will be a major plank in our platform.”
Born, raised and educated in St. Boniface, Françoise, 29, is a seasoned community activist who sits on the board of Envol 91 FM, la radio communautaire du Manitoba, where she also contributes content. In the past, she has served as a director on the Board of Governors of the Université de Saint-Boniface, as chair of Conseil Jeunesse Provincial, and a board member of the Fédération de la jeunesse canadienne-française and the Old St. Boniface Residents Association.
A graduate of the Université de Saint-Boniface and University of Manitoba, Françoise works as a freelance consultant on educational and artistic projects. In the past she has worked as general manager of the Théâtre Cercle Molière and as a constituency assistant to the Honourable Greg Selinger.
Françoise, her partner Matt and their dog Boussole, live in the constituency.
