Online Voting
Voting on the Council By-Electoins and Resolutions will take place from February 9th to February 23rd via a secure and certified online voting platform called SimplyVoting, which has been safely and successfully used by the GPM, GPC, and many other organisations in the past.
The results of the By-Elections and Resolutions votes will be announced at the 2021 AGM on February 27th 2022.
Resolutions
Members were given the opportunity to submit policy, governance, or directive resolutions to be voted on at the AGM. The resolutions that were submitted were debated and amended at the Committee of the Whole meeting on January 30th.
The amended Resolutions are available to be viewed here, on our website, and all Members have the opportunity to vote on the resolutions through an online ballot open February 9th to 23rd.
Annual General Meeting
The 2021 Annual General Meeting (AGM) is taking place on February 27th 2022. It serves as an opportunity for all Members of the GPM to hear reports on the party’s finances and operations from it’s officers and committees.
The AGM will also feature special-guest speakers (TBA) and the results of the Resolutions votes and Council By-Elections.
Council By-Elections
Due to vacancies arising since the last regular council elections, the GPM is holding by-elections for the positions of President, Treasurer, Membership Coordinator, and South-Eastern Manitoba Representative.
All Members will have the opportunity to elect the candidates to fill these vacancies through an online ballot open February 9th to 23rd.
