1. Invest/Donate

Donors are defined as giving one or more lump sum(s) of any amount. Investors opt for monthly giving plans of $5 or more/month. Why should I give monthly?

2. Volunteer

Volunteers can donate as much or as little time as they want. If you prefer to help out one time only or would like a regular schedule, it's all up to you.  We have volunteer 'want ads' but you can also contact our volunteeratgreenparty [dot] mb [dot] ca (subject: I%20WANT%20TO%20VOLUNTEER%20FOR%20THE%20GREEN%20PARTY%20OF%20MANITOBA) (Volunteer Coordinator) if you have other suggestions.

Benefits include:

  • Knowing that you are making a difference in Manitoba politics, by giving your time and experience to a non-profit organization dedicated to improving Manitoba's quality of life.
  • Learning skills or gaining experience in new areas.
  • Receiving press releases, policy updates and early notice of events.
  • Reduced or free admission to events.

 

3. Become a Member

With any monthly contribution or one-time donation or more you are eligible for a membership in the Green Party of Manitoba.  Membership fees are eligible for the same generous tax credit as donations. How generous?

Membership fee is $10 for 1-year or $25 for 3-years. 

Benefits include:

  • Opportunities to research and develop the official policies and strategies of the party.
  • Voting privileges for adoption of procedures, internal by-laws, constitutional revisions, platform policies, as well as in the election for GPM council and leadership.
  • Eligibility to run for council and leadership positions within the party.
  • Eligibility to seek provincial elected office and serve your constituents.
  • Receiving press releases, policy updates and early notice of events.
  • Knowing that you are making a difference in Manitoba politics, by becoming a member of a non-profit organization dedicated to improving Manitoba's quality of life.
