Riding: Logan
Originally from Morden, Kristen has lived and worked in Winnipeg's core area/Logan riding since 1988. She is owner of the popular second hand clothing store Ragpickers' Anti-Fashion Emporium. She is an active and long standing member of the Canadian Federation of Independent Business.
Kristen fully endorses the Green Party's Platform, particularly as it supports the idea of localized production and Made in Manitoba solutions.
Kristen believes that by using such measures as the Genuine Progress Indicator we can gain a true measure of the well-being and economic health of our communities.
The Green Party policies come from a common sense, grassroots stance that recognizes a living wage, the right to affordable housing, and restorative justice as basic tenets in fostering a safe, vibrant neighborhood within the downtown core, which is the Logan Constituency.
Kristen is honoured to represent the Green Party of Manitoba in Logan.
